A General Partnership, CallSteward.Com was born out of the need of a small trade union to find consistency in dispatching. Dispatchers would routinely "pass the cell phone" and hand off "the black book" to the next person in line with very little in the way of notes that could even begin to resemble consistency. Employees went about life unsure. Employers bemoaned the lack of communication, and in general union dispatch policy was regarded as "the sole will of the dispacher".

CallSteward changed all of that. Today, employees go to work with more confidence of their work environment and their union because they can see all the detail of where and when and with whom they are working. Employees show up to work more often and on time with the proper tools because the employers request is copied & pasted directly into their schedule which they can print at home. Employers are happy because the labor they request shows up on time, with the proper tools and attire because CallSteward makes it less likely that notes are lost in translation. Additionally, CallSteward pages are consistent in their presentation, so both employers and employees share increased comfort in the reliability of stable and confirmed information.
